one to watch: olympia le-tan
i am completely obsessed with olympia le-tan's literary clutches. what a fun, quirky way to add a little whimsy to an outfit. definitely a conversation starter albeit, a piggy bank breaker. hand-embroidered and lined with liberty prints, each clutches is a work of art. this isn't surprising when you know that she is the legacy of french illustrator pierre le-tan. i just discovered that in addition to these amazing clutches, she also has a line of ready to wear. my love was sealed when i realized her F/W13 collection is titled "schnitzel with noodles" and inspired by germanic pinups. her father illustrated the fauna heads which grace the posters for the collection. why are the french so cool?
