the busiest time of year for a buyer is summer. june-sept is when we make our buys for the spring ahead which means trade shows, planning meetings, detailing meetings, marketing meetings... you get the point. it's also when fall product begins to ship, so we're tracking the routing on those shipments and at the same time trying to sell off all the spring/summer product we have in stock.
it's busy and i see a lot of people that i want to impress.
i've already started thinking about what i want to wear--- the key items i need in my wardrobe to support this fall's trends. here's my list and below, a few of the exact items on my list:
- bomber jacket
- black neoprene skirt (scored today at neiman's sale!)
- perfect grey t-shirt (scored today at zara!)
- something camo (this equipment is the way i personally will cover trend)
- slip on sneaker (scored the original, vans on zappos!)
- go-to black boot (acne-pistol, an oldie but goodie)
- moto pants (scored the below on shopbop!)
- birkenstocks (black on black-will wait for germany)
- leather jacket (mine was stolen a few years ago and i can't seem to part with the $)
- boxy jacket (WHY did i not splurge when it hit shopbop's sale. searching everywhere now)
- equipment black washed silk button up (i can't have enough of these)
- something leopard (the bomber below covers both!)
- repetto ballet flats (a classic)
