so, i've finally returned from a whirlwind tour of europe and although, a bit jet lagged (okay, very), i am so inspired by the new cities i visited!!
LONDON>milan>PARIS>garda(italy)>SCHLANDERS(ITALY)>munich
paris was a last minute addition, and i hate to admit it but, i was most skeptical of this city. i've never had a burning desire to visit. well, my brief 30 hours in paris proved me incredibly wrong. in fact, i think it may have been my favorite city of the trip and i've been dreaming about a return visit ever since i left (without even visiting the eiffel tower might i add). and then i stumbled upon a website that may just change my life.
see, i LOVE to rent apartments when i travel. i am fascinated with the way people decorate their homes and their stories regarding income properties. I love discovering the neighborhood like a local, finding my favorite neighborhood coffee shop and fresh market, cooking and enjoying a glass of wine out on the terrace. every once in a while i get one that isn't quite up to my standards though. that's where onefinestay.com comes in. they run the apartments themselves, providing hotel service in an unhotel environment! hooked.
so, i think my next trip will be a triumphant return to paris perhaps in one of these lovely apartments:
