neon reverb kicks off tonight in downtown vegas! the reverb is a bi-annual local music festival. if you haven't hung around places like the beauty bar, the griffen, or the bunkhouse before, you should next time you're in vegas. these places are breeding houses for some talented bands like the rusty maples, the clydesdale, a crowd of small adventures and some amazing newcomers like sabriel and (my boyfriend) patrick strobl. the reverb is also a great place to meet other locals that may not get out as regularly-- there are so many artists, techies, designers, and interesting entrepreneurs hanging out. i've made quite a number of friends outside of the office bubble while seeing bands.
the bunkhouse serves pickle backs.
